Card Guide

The most interesting chart in baseball cards. PCA hit .381 with 11 home runs in June — his sale prices rose just 8.9%, but trading volume exploded +160%. Volume leads price. Here's the full card map: the 2020 Bowman Draft 1st cards, the Sapphire runner, the 2024 RCs, and how to trade the divergence.

⚾ June: .381 · 11 HR Volume +160% · Price +8.9% Sapphire 1st: +121% / 30d Prices as of Jul 6, 2026
📈 The setup: when volume runs 18x ahead of price, one of two things resolves it — price catches up, or the buyers were wrong. PCA's June (.381, 11 HR) says the buyers have a case. His 2020 Bowman Draft Sapphire 1st is already +121% in 30 days (Market Movers via SCD), and his top auto sales sit at $50K+. Verify against live sold comps. Prices as of Jul 6, 2026.

Pete Crow-Armstrong — At a Glance

Elite defense was always the floor; the June power surge is what re-rated the market. Card map splits into 2020 Bowman Draft 1sts (drafted by the Mets, traded to Chicago) and the 2024 rookie-year cards.

Which PCA Cards Actually Matter

The 1st Bowman tier carries the trophy sales; the 2024 RC tier carries the liquidity. Every row links to live eBay listings.

The Signal

Volume +160%, Price +8.9% — Reading the Divergence

This is the stat that puts PCA on this site. Price is opinion; volume is commitment. An 18:1 volume-to-price ratio on a player posting a .381/11-HR month means positions are being built faster than the price is being marked up — accumulation, not distribution. The bull resolution: price follows volume and the +8.9% becomes the base of a bigger move. The bear resolution: the production cools and the volume was tourists. Either way, the next 4–6 weeks of comps decide it — that's the trade window, and it's why entries at the liquid RC tier are more attractive than chasing the Sapphire vertical.

What to Skip

Chasing the Sapphire +121% candle — the momentum card has already moved. The catch-up tiers (base 1sts, 2024 RCs) carry better risk/reward now.
Ignoring the volume when it fades — if trading volume normalizes while price is still flat, the accumulation thesis is dead. Exit signals matter as much as entries.
Raw non-numbered 2024 RCs as holds — printed in volume; they're trade inventory, not assets. Graded 10s or numbered only.
Paying June-hype premiums for July production — one monster month sets the price; the next month has to defend it. Comp against this week's solds, not last month's headlines.
