Pokémon pull rates differ across rarity tiers, so no equal-supply claim is made — this is a price-weighted chase-basket index, plainly. · WEIGHT — price ÷ basket value (priced cards only). · PRICE — sold comps only, dated per row; never asks, never blended, never estimated. · FULL METHODOLOGY — solds vs asks vs engine marks vs proxies, the one-page read: /how-prices-work · INDEX LEVEL — Σ(sold mark × weight) ÷ divisor (9.968506), set so that 100 = Jul 2026 (release month): the level IS the cumulative return since then. Rebased Sep 30, 2026 from the original Aug 24 launch base (every level × 0.8233; shape and % moves unchanged). Months before the live marks are reconstructed from PriceCharting's monthly ungraded price history with today's basket, labelled on the chart. The divisor adjusts (and is logged) whenever the basket composition changes, so only prices move the level. NO CAPS — since Oct 12, 2026 the index is the cost of one copy of every card in the basket, indexed to its base month: a card's weight is its price over that sum and moves with prices, nothing is trimmed and there is no rebalance.
