Umbreon ex SIR alone clears the whole Destined Rivals top three. That is a set whose value sits in a few cards the market keeps paying for, twenty months after release.
The case for Destined Rivals is price of entry. An ETB is $13 cheaper at the lowest ask, a booster bundle $25 cheaper, and the basket is broader: 62 priced cards to 49. If you want exposure to a set with a $400 headline card without paying Prismatic Evolutions prices for sealed, this is the cheaper version of the same trade. The tape says it has been the weaker hold so far, not that it will stay one.
