The Mega Darkrai ex people mean — 116/084, the Special Illustration Rare from Pitch Black — sold for a $171.75 median across its 30 most recent raw sales (Sep 29–Oct 3, 2026). A PSA 10 sold for an $830.00 median (21 dated sales, Sep 5–Oct 1), and the ten latest for $780.50 (Sep 23–Oct 1).
Four English Pitch Black cards carry the name. The gold 120/084 is the high-dollar one in a slab: its latest PSA 10 sold for $1,525.00 on Sep 30, 2026. Raw, the four sell from $1.89 to $171.75. The table prices each from dated sold comps, raw and graded, so you know which card you hold before you read a number.

The number under the art settles it. Two numbers carry the money.
Some sellers title the 116 as a 2015 Ancient Origins or BREAKpoint card. Neither set numbers its cards out of 084; check the set symbol and the 084 before you pay. A sealed Pitch Black Elite Trainer Box had a lowest live ask of $69.99 on Oct 4, 2026 (49 listings returned; redemption codes, used, damaged, lots, cases and Pokémon Center editions set aside) — an ask, not a sale.
Raw is the median of the most recent 30 sales PriceCharting lists (the tab stops at 30, so the window is whatever those 30 cover). Graded cells use only sales whose own listing title names the grade, PSA 10 or PSA 9, per our graded-figure rule; CGC, TAG and ACE 9s are left out. Fewer than 3 sales in 30 days and fewer than 2 in 90 reads "No sold read", never a guess.

Every figure in this table is one of our sold comps — a completed eBay sale as listed by PriceCharting, read Oct 4, 2026 — shown with its count and its window. Sold comps only; asks are never mixed into these cells. eBay links are affiliate links (we earn a commission at no cost to you); the buttons open a live search, and the prices you see there are asks, not sales.
The same 30 titled PSA 10 sales of the 116/084, split into three stretches. Each figure is the median of the dated sales inside it.
The gold 120 is thinner: five PSA 10 sales in 90 days, $1,950.00 on Aug 16, $2,500.00 on Aug 21, $2,100.00 on Aug 30, $1,800.00 on Sep 19 and $1,525.00 on Sep 30. Same direction, fewer prints.
The Pitch Black Chase Index is a price-weighted basket of the set's 36 chase cards, re-marked weekly from sold comps. It is based at 100 = Jul 2026, the first month of sold data after the Jul 17, 2026 release, so the level reads as the basket's change since that month. Live marks run from Aug 24, 2026; the July base is a labelled monthly reconstruction from PriceCharting price history, not a live mark.
Close to half the basket is one Pokémon, so PB26 mostly moves when Mega Darkrai moves. The index marks ($184.01 and $155.03, Sep 28) and this page's reads ($171.75 and $146.78, Oct 4) are both sold-basis; the index carries PriceCharting's smoothed ungraded figure at re-mark time, and this page takes the plain median of the last 30 prints. The 048 is not in the chase basket.
The raw 116 is liquid, and it is drifting lower. Thirty sales in five days (Sep 29 to Oct 3) put the middle at $171.75. The index mark for the same card was $192.89 on Sep 21 and $184.01 on Sep 28. Three reads in two weeks, each lower than the last.
The grading premium is shrinking fast. A PSA 10 at the 30-day median ($830.00, 21 dated sales, Sep 5–Oct 1) is 4.8 times raw; at the late-September median ($790.50, 12 dated sales, Sep 22–Oct 1) it is 4.6 times. From Aug 22 to Sep 2 it was $1,525.00 (9 dated sales). If you are sending raw copies in now, price the slab at what the latest sales show, not at the August tape, and leave room for the grading fee and the wait.
A PSA 9 still holds above raw. The PSA 9 median for the 116 ($302.00, 14 dated sales, Sep 8–30) sits well above raw ($171.75). That cushion is why "worth grading" is a fair question here, unlike sets where a 9 trades under a raw copy.
The gold 120 is the four-figure card, on thin tape. Five PSA 10 sales in 90 days, from $2,500.00 (Aug 21) down to $1,525.00 (Sep 30). Thin tape moves faster both ways, and one sale can reset the median.
What we do not know. Thirty is a cap, not a month: a busy card's raw window is a few days. PriceCharting rows are eBay completed listings, and a best-offer sale shows its list price, not the accepted offer. No pull rate, population count or reprint plan appears here because we did not read one from a source we can cite.
