Several cards sell as “Umbreon VMAX”, and only one of them is Moonbreon. The Japanese and Korean prints carry the same art. The others sell for a small fraction of it. The raw card trades often, and the recent half is softer. 26 raw sales in 30 days, from $1,350 (a copy listed as damaged) to $2,800. The 12 sales from Sep 14 to 25 median $1,864.77; the 14 from Aug 30 to Sep 11 median $2,000.00. That is why this page quotes a median, and why a seller should lean on the last two weeks.
A PSA 9 barely beats raw. A PSA 10 at $3,999.00 (30 dated sales, Sep 18–27) is 2.0x the raw median, and every one of those sales landed between $3,636 and $4,720. A PSA 9 at $2,123.10 (14 dated sales, Sep 4–25) is only 8% over raw. After grading fees and the wait, a copy that comes back a 9 roughly returns what it was worth raw. The grading bet is the gap between a 9 and a 10: $1,875.90.
Check the number on your card. Moonbreon is 215/203 only. The rainbow 214/203 sold for $59.98 raw and the regular 095/203 for $25.50. The Japanese 095/069 from Eevee Heroes has the same art; its PSA 10 sold for $4,175.00 on 14 dated sales (Aug 31–Sep 27), and raw Japanese copies rarely sell ungraded (3 in 90 days). The Umbreon ex from Prismatic Evolutions is a different card, priced on its own page.
What we do not know. The raw column mixes conditions; a listing marked damaged sits inside the median. PriceCharting rows are eBay completed listings, and a best-offer sale shows its list price, not the accepted offer. Evolving Skies is not in any ShopCardHub index, so there is no basket to measure this card against. No print run, pull rate or population count appears here because we did not read one from a source we can cite.
