Steel City Collectibles and Midwest Cards both list 2026 Panini Donruss Football hobby boxes for October 28, 2026. Steel City marks the date "subject to change", and Panini has not printed one we could read, so treat it as a distributor date. This is the first Donruss Football since Panini lost the NFL license to Fanatics and Topps: Checklist Insider says all pro cards are unlicensed and college cards take a bigger role. Steel City's presale price is $224.95 a hobby box. Last year's licensed 2025 hobby box sold for a median $435.00 across 7 sales, Jul 16–Oct 4, 2026. Its top chase, Cam Ward's Downtown rookie in PSA 10, sold for a median $725.00 across 23 sales, Sep 6–Oct 5, 2026.

Downtown is the case-hit insert collectors open Donruss for. These are the 2025 Downtown rookies, from the last licensed Donruss. Each figure is a dated sold comp: a median of the counted sales in the stated window, or a single sale named as one sale with its date. The ask column is the cheapest live fixed-price eBay listing on Oct 6. An ask is what a seller wants, not what a card sold for.

Sold comps from SportsCardsPro's completed-sales tables for the 2025 Panini Donruss Downtown set, read Oct 6, 2026. Graded rows use the PSA 10 tab only. The tables show the 30 most recent sales, so the Jeanty and Hunter raw rows are capped at 30 inside the 30-day window. Oversized and Optic Downtown versions are different cards and are not counted. Live asks via ShopCardHub's eBay comps feed, Oct 6; auction listings without a fixed price were left out.
Per Steel City's hobby listing (read Oct 6, 2026): 10 cards per pack, 12 packs per box, and on average 1 autograph, 1 memorabilia card, 12 parallels, 6 Optic Base or Base parallels and 36 inserts per box. The prices below are distributor presale prices and eBay asks, dated. None of them is a sale.

Steel City also lists a 2026 Donruss Football hobby blaster. Midwest Cards lists an 18-box hobby case and a hobby blaster. Panini's own release calendar did not render for us on Oct 6.
Last year's box is the nearest comparison, but not a clean one: 2025 Donruss carried NFL teams and logos, and 2026 does not. Each figure is the median of the counted sales in the stated window.

From SportsCardsPro's 2025 Panini Donruss hobby-box tab, read Oct 6, 2026. The 7 sales: $767.82 (Oct 4), $485.00 (Sep 27), $425.00 (Aug 7), $371.00 (Aug 5), $415.00 and $435.00 (Aug 3), $450.00 (Jul 16). Removed by eye: a $40.00 factory-set box (Aug 8) and a Road to World Cup soccer box filed on the same tab (Jul 17).
The date is a distributor date. Steel City, Midwest Cards and Checklist Insider all show October 28. Panini has not published a date we could read, and Steel City says it may change. Plan around it, but do not count on it.
The license is the story. The 2025 Downtown rookies sold for $273 to $430 raw and $537.50 to $725.00 in PSA 10 because they show Cam Ward as a Titan and Ashton Jeanty as a Raider. The 2026 cards cannot show NFL teams. Nobody has sold one yet, so nobody knows how collectors will price an unlicensed Downtown.
The box is priced like it. Steel City's presale is $224.95. Last year's box sells for a $435.00 median. That gap is the market's first guess at the license discount, and it is a guess, not a sale.
What we do not know. We do not know the full checklist, which college players are in it, or how the first boxes will sell. This page will add the first dated sold comps after boxes ship.
