Topps opened pre-orders for 2026 Topps Cosmic Chrome Baseball on October 5, 2026, per its release calendar. Topps has not printed a street date, and Steel City Collectibles shows "Release Date TBD". We will not guess one. A hobby box is 20 packs of 4 cards. Last year's sealed box is the best guide to the money: a 2025 Cosmic Chrome Baseball hobby box listed at $349.99 on release day and sold for a median $959.99 across 3 sales, Sep 7–29, 2026. The top of the 2025 checklist is Shohei Ohtani. His Constellation Variation sold for $10,000.00 in PSA 10 (1 dated sale, Jul 28, 2026).

The 2026 checklist has no sales yet. These are the same card types from 2025 Topps Cosmic Chrome Baseball. Each figure is a dated sold comp: a median when there were at least 3 sales in 30 days or 2 in 90, otherwise the most recent single sale, named as one sale with its date. Graded rows count only sales whose own title names the grade.

Sold comps from SportsCardsPro's completed-sales tables, read Oct 5, 2026. One Ohtani #56 sale titled "MBA 10" was left out of the raw median. Older single sales are shown because the newest sale is the only honest read on these cards; the date tells you how stale it is. Ohtani's Superfractor 1/1 has a guide figure on SportsCardsPro but we do not print guide numbers. More on the rookies: Konnor Griffin · Kevin McGonigle.
Where last year's box trades is the best guide to how this product holds up after release. The figure is the median of the counted sales in the stated window. It is a comparison, not a price for the 2026 box.

| 2025 Topps Cosmic Chrome Baseball hobby boxsealed, single box | $959.99 | Median of 3 sales · Sep 7–29, 2026 | Lowest single-box ask $975.00 (18 single-box listings, Oct 5). Last year's list was $329.99 presale and $349.99 on release day (Checklist Insider). | 2025 hobby boxes on eBay |
From SportsCardsPro's 2025 Topps Cosmic Chrome hobby-box tab, read Oct 5, 2026: $965.00 (Sep 29), $959.99 (Sep 27) and $954.95 (Sep 7). The ask is the cheapest single sealed box among eBay listings on ShopCardHub's comps feed, Oct 5, after removing single packs, multi-box lots and cases. An ask is what a seller wants, not a sale.
Pack counts are from Steel City's hobby listing and Checklist Insider's guide (Sep 30, 2026). Topps has not published a 2026 list price. The eBay links below are live searches; on Oct 5 the 2026 hobby-box search on our comps feed returned no listings.

The date is open. Topps has put only the October 5 pre-order on its calendar. Steel City shows the release as TBD. Midwest Cards once listed an expected release of October 31; by Oct 3 its page no longer showed that date, so we do not print it.
Last year's box held up. A 2025 hobby box listed at $349.99 on release day. It sells for a $959.99 median a year later, on three September sales. That is a thin read, but the cheapest live box ask on Oct 5 was $975.00, so the asks agree.
The value sits in a few cards. A raw Ohtani base card sells for about $21. His short prints and inserts sold for $4,350 to $10,000. Autographs fall about 1 in 136 packs, so most 20-pack boxes have none. Buying a box is a bet on the top of the checklist.
What we do not know. We do not know the 2026 street date, the list price, or the presale asks. This page will add them, dated and sourced, as they appear.
