Hobby boxes run 20 packs of 12 cards with one autograph or relic per box; Topps' presale price was $109.99 a hobby box (Checklist Insider, Sep 21). The 350-card base set carries the season's rookie debuts, including Travis Bazzana's flagship RC, plus the 75 Years of Topps anniversary inserts. 2025 Topps Update Series released November 12, 2025 at $89.99 a hobby box on presale and $94.99 on release day (Checklist Insider). Ten months on, this is its dated sold tape from SportsCardsPro — medians of counted sales in a stated window, the same basis every index on this site uses. It is the closest thing to a forward read on 2026 Update that exists before the product opens.

Graded figures are single dated rows (LANE-RULES R18). Titles and sellers are never published. These are 2025 product sales; nothing here is a price for a 2026 card.
The box is the trade, not the base card. Last year's Update hobby box went from $94.99 at release to a $150.00 sold median ten months later, while its headline raw rookies settled at $1.00 to $1.50. That spread is the whole thesis of flagship Update: sealed product appreciates on the rookie class as a group; the raw base cards of that class do not.
2026 costs more going in. Topps' presale price moved from $89.99 (2025) to $109.99 (2026), a 22% higher entry before a card is opened. For the 2026 box to repeat 2025's path it needs a stronger class or a tighter print, and neither is knowable on September 26. We do not project it.
The chase is the auto, the grade, or the parallel. A PSA 10 Kurtz has one dated sale at $110 against a $1 raw. That is a grading arbitrage that exists for a few months after release and then closes as pop reports fill. Bazzana #US75 is the 2026 card most likely to see the same window.
What we will do. The first 2026 Update sold comps land two to three weeks after October 14. This page gets dated per-card medians then, and not before. Until that tape prints, every 2026 figure is a stated price, and buying above it is paying a presale premium on a product nobody has opened.
