That is the common print, Unlimited, with a drop shadow on the right edge of the picture frame and no stamp. Shadowless has no stamp and no shadow on the frame. 1st Edition adds a small black "Edition 1" stamp below the lower left of the picture. Charizard is one of the 101 cards our Base Set index (BS99) prices, and the heaviest. At the Oct 6, 2026 mark its $468.00 ninety-day raw median would be 47.3% of the basket on its own, so the index holds it at its 25% single-card cap. BS99 stood at 110.43 on Oct 6 (100 = Jan 2021, the first month PriceCharting's sold history reliably covers; the set released Jan 1999). Its monthly reconstruction rose from 87.30 in Aug 2025 to 113.72 in Aug 2026. The steps get big above that: $1,380.00 in PSA 8 (18 sales, Sep 7–Oct 4) and $3,500.00 in PSA 9 (7 sales, Sep 8–29), all 2026. A raw copy is a bet on what it would grade, and most twenty-five-year-old cards show whitening and soft corners.
PSA 10 has no reliable price right now. Three Unlimited PSA 10 sales in 90 days landed at $31,000.00, $8,000.00, $10,300.00. The six before them, Dec 22, 2025 to May 4, 2026, ran $18,055.00 to $37,100.00. Any single figure would hide that spread.
The print matters as much as the grade. A raw Shadowless copy sold for $1,009.00 (4 sales, Sep 7–17) and a raw 1st Edition for $10,253.00 (4 sales, Jul 18–Aug 31, 90-day window). The 1st Edition reads are thin, so treat them as a range.
