NDC1E · Neo Discovery 1st Edition Index

All 75 cards of Pokémon TCG Neo Discovery (1st Edition), priced from dated sold comps and re-marked Monday and Thursday. 100 = Jul 2021, the first month the sold history reliably covers (the set predates it); months before 10/04/26 are reconstructed from monthly price history, live marks since 10/04/26. This block tracks the set; it does not recommend cards. Method ↓

The plain readJust started tracking

The 74 cards we track in Pokémon TCG Neo Discovery (1st Edition) are worth 96.3% more together than in July 2021, the earliest month with reliable sales data.

Priciest card: Umbreon (#13), about $1,400 on recent sales.

How to read the big number: it started at 100. Above 100 means these cards got pricier; below 100 means cheaper.

This tracks prices — it doesn’t tell you to buy or sell. Cards are long holds, so the 6–12 month picture matters more than any one week.

Method. One set, one index. The universe is every card in the set; the basket is the cards that trade as ungraded singles — at least 6 clean single-card sold comps in the trailing 90 days to enter, 4 to stay. Price-weighted on PriceCharting's dated ungraded sold list (blended eBay + TCGplayer), never asks. Caps: no card above 25% and positions above 5% never past 50% together (the Select Sector SPDR 5/50 rule) — a weight marked * is capped, and every cap is a weight in the divisor math, so applying one never moves the level. Level = Σ(sold mark × weight) ÷ divisor 20.517353; entries, exits and cap changes are logged divisor adjustments; reconstitution quarterly (first Monday of Jan/Apr/Jul/Oct, announced the Monday before). 1 of 75 cards is in the universe but not the basket — too few clean sales in the trailing 90 days at the last screen: Ursaring #15. n30 is a liquidity gate, never a volume figure (the source caps its table at 60 rows). The 2001 Neo Discovery 1st Edition print (stamped); the holo Espeon #1 and Umbreon #13 are its chase. 1st Edition print only: Unlimited, Shadowless and stamped promos are separate items with their own indices. Raw 1st Edition holos sell a few times a month, so this index screens and marks on 90 days of sales (enter at 6, stay at 4). A raw copy can be any condition, so the mark is the median raw sale, not a near-mint price. Bid buttons are live eBay auctions on the exact card (verified title, soonest close with bids first, refreshed every 15 minutes) — bids, not marks. An index is a measurement, not a call. How prices work · every ticker.
