Inception brings its acetate, art-driven look to the hardwood — a low-count, autograph-and-relic product built around the 2025-26 rookie class. Here's the chase: NBA First Milestone Auto Relics, Inception Silver Signings, the rookie jumbo and booklet relic autos, and how to think about a premium hits-only box before you buy.

Inception's value is concentrated in the rookie autographs and autographed relics of the 2025-26 class, plus the color rainbow on those hits. These are the subsets confirmed on the official release — track each one on eBay the moment cards hit the secondary market.

Inception is known for its bold acetate color rainbow layered over the autos and relics. Exact serial numbers are confirmed on the official checklist — lower count holds value, star-rookie names amplify it.
Inception is a hits-only box: you're buying autographs and relics, not a base set. That means high variance — one star-rookie First Milestone Auto Relic can carry the box, or you can land role-player autos and come up short. Treat it as a lottery on a thin, premium menu, and run the numbers before you rip.
For a premium auto product, singles are almost always the sharper play unless you specifically want the rip. Target the exact rookie auto/relic and color you want once comps exist.
